20 August Finalists in Hotly Contested NTIA Most Outstanding Categories Revealed as Awards Excitement Builds August 20, 2025 By Amanda Rixon Media Release, National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) 0 The finalists for the most outstanding (judged) categories for the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) have been revealed in one of the closest-run competitions in recent memory. A panel of independent, university level assessors have evaluated each nominee’s video or written submission to establish the top five scoring nominees in each category. In 7 categories, a top 6 has been declared due to there being a tie in scores. An additional round of judging took place for the hotly contested categories - Most Outstanding Sales Executive for Air, Cruise, Tour Operator and Wholesaler. This was due to the high quality of their submission responses and the results achieved by these individuals in the last 12 months. For the business categories, scoring for the Sustainability Award – ATIA Accredited Agency was the tightest with just 5.5 points separating the first and twelfth placed nominees. This reflects a growing focus on aligning sustainability initiatives with consumer preference for sustainable travel. The full list of finalists in the judged categories can be found here: www.atia.travel/NTIA2025/finalists ATIA thanks all nominees for their outstanding contributions to their entries and to the industry and looks forward to celebrating their achievements at NTIA 2025 on 18 October at The Star. QUOTE ATTRIBUTABLE TO ATIA CEO: DEAN LONG: “This year’s judged categories have been some of the most hotly contested we’ve ever seen at the NTIAs, with incredibly high-calibre submissions across the board. The closeness of the scoring - in some cases only a handful of points between finalists - speaks to the exceptional talent, innovation and dedication driving our industry forward. Every finalist should be proud to have stood out in such a competitive field.” QUOTE ATTRIBUTABLE TO A NTIA ASSESSOR: “As an assessor for the National Travel Industry Awards, I was inspired by the innovation, resilience, and genuine passion shown by all the nominees and particularly the finalists. Each entry reflected a deep commitment to excellence, customer service, and strengthening the industry’s future.
